<p>Well, honestly I don't know much about it, other than that it is a highly selective LAC in southern california. I think you'll get more responses from the Pomona thread though</p>

<p>My friend got a full ride tehre from Quest Bridge and she's starting this fall. But she visited and everythign and she's in love with it! The Claremont colleges are some of the best yet less talked about LACs. (not just my personal opinion, but of counselors and other respected individuals lol)</p>
<p>Awesome school, often underrated, part of an interesting consortium in a nice suburban location. (I have a friend attending this fall.)</p>
<p>Well-respected LAC. Academically strong. Nice college community.</p>
<p>Highly thought of, at least by those who know liberal arts colleges.</p>

<p>It's been called the Amherst of the west. I'm not sure if people on the west coast refer to Amherst as the Pomona of the east.</p>
<p>^Haha. similar to McGill being called the Harvard of Canada, while it would be unheard of to call Harvard the McGill of the US .. lol ..</p>

<p>Except I think Pomona and Amherst are much more comparable than Harvard and McGill.</p>
