soar high in life!!

HMM.....so do you guys set goals? What are your long term and short term goals? Back later with mine.

Today's episode of Sesame Street has been brought to you by the letter "G" and the number "7".

Setting goals?! o0.

Some simple ones:
Turn in every assignment on time.
Show up to class on time.
Sleep a lot.
Get a social life.
Study for tests.
Learn to write essays.
Don't get drunk too much (don't blow too much money on alcohol).

Research a human rights project this summer

Establish connections with leaders of non-profit organizations that I'm interested in

Re-invent myself: adopt a different clothing style (something simpler and cheaper but more expressive), develop my artistic talent, be bolder (i have the heart of a lion now though)

Maintain a professional demeanor but learn how to relax in a more casual setting, be unafraid to let guard down

Show weakness only in private (this is important for a leader to do), be a source of strength to everyone. I'm usually good at this, but there was one catastrophic episode this past year.

Be extraordinarily well-versed in topics that concern my leadership position

Find a best friend in college, be more outgoing even if it takes some effort, network with more gay guys (there's a shortage where I live)-- needed as part of my leadership position :), umm find more Asian guys (there are only a few here and they're straight as hell)
