hey thanks for the links but i already checked that out...actually i am looking for the degree requirements for course 6-3 Computer Science and Engineering.....I want to know what's the core requirement, then the distribution for Comp Scie Engg (Core of EECS + concentration in CS required), then the humanities and social science requirements, and free electives....all in all a sort of a breakup which one usually follows to get the 6-3 degree....
Any help will be appreciated..

actually if just a student can give me what some actual student is taking...that would be great...

dude just browse around....
for example, http://www.eecs.mit.edu/ug/brief-guide.html#vi-3reqs lists requirements for the "CompSci Engg" that you talked about, Course VI-3. of course you need the GIRs (2 calc, 2 phy, 1 chem, 1 bio, the humanities subjects etc etc)

thanks merc...hehe i should have come directly to you then...

A prospective course 6 major would usually take 18.01/18.01A/18.02, 8.01, 3.091, and a HASS in the fall. In the spring, he/she would take 18.02/18.03, 8.02, 6.001, and a HASS.

That's all I really know.

just google something like...
"6.001 8.02 OR 8.022 18.03 6.046" and I'm sure you'll fine the schedules of tons of course 6ers
