Hi, I wud be greatful If someone answered my questions

<p>1) When I google "Pre Med Universities" I see many Univ. but they dont have a major called Pre-Med , so how does that work coz some colleges have Pre Med as a major. How does that work, what majors, what subjects, what procedure. </p>

<p>2) How good is Univ. of Minnesota for pre med. I applied there but have no clue is it worth going there. </p>

<p>3) I got a C on my AP bio and a 2 on AP Test. Is it gonna be a big thing that colleges are goona be like We cant take u coz u did bad there, how can u be good now??</p>

<p>4)I live in Illinois. some stats abt me could u please tell me wht Universities in Midwest will most likely take me</p>

-ACT - 25 and working hard to raise it this summer!
-Community Service of around - 45 hours
-When I was in India I played a sport and was an athelete.
-Couple of AP subjects
-Came here in my sophomore year, so didnt know much but worked hard to get going with things which might have been a hinderance to my perfomance. </p>

<p>Question 1 is answered, and question 2 is indirectly answered.</p>

<p>As for your 3rd question, most universities won't reject you for a single C grade (except perhaps some of the elites/top 25 colleges). Your AP score shouldn't make much difference, since most colleges do not use AP scores for admission but rather, for placement once you've been admitted. You should look at why you didn't do better in the class and on the exam. Remember that it will only get harder in college.</p>

<p>I can't help you with your 4th question, but based on what you've posted, you probably have a lot of options open. Nothing seems to preclude you from admission to most colleges. Your GPA is great, your ACT is not bad (though it would be good if you could raise it like you said), everything else looks fine.</p>
