High GPA transfer advice??

I am currently a sophomore at WashU with a 4.0 cumulative GPA.

Would I have any chance in transferring into top schools like stanford, upenn, princeton, etc? I would like to major in math.

I do not want to waste my time if my chance is minimal, but I would not mind preparing all the stuff for the transfer process if I have some reasonable chance of getting in.

Thanks for all the help.

Princeton doesn’t take transfers. S has a transfer rate of about 2%, Penn is higher.

You have a great gpa at a top school, that alone gives you a decent chance at transferring to another selective college. The rest will depend on your reason for transfer, ECs, LORs, etc.

WashU is an amazing school. I think with a GPA like that you will not have any trouble transferring to another top school. Yet, Ivies are always a gamble for everybody who applies.
