high-heeled shoes at Dartmouth?

Hey everyone, here’s a very superficial question: I’m short (5’1) so I wear high-heeled/wedge shoes all the time. But some people told me that no one at Dartmouth wears heel… Would it be weird of me to wear high-heels? Is it very impractical?
Also, what’s the weather like in Hanover in the fall? Shall I bring shorts and dresses?

You can wear whatever you like. Keep in mind that there is a lot of walking so you will have to think of the practicality of wearing high heels all of the time. If you are housed in the river dorms (not unusual for freshmen), it would be very impractical (imho) to walk from the river to classes in heels. The fall in Hanover is beautiful, if the weather is warm enough to wear shorts, wear shorts. If you wear dresses all of the time wear a dress. Once you settle in , you will do whatever is best for you.

@christine7hang wearing heels in new hampshire is strictly forbidden. You will be charged with bigotry and burned at the stake for being a witch.

How would you walk through snow in heels? Walk on an icy path? Walk in the rain on a muddy sidewalk? You can pack your heels, but you are going to need some other shoe options, too.
