So, I kinda failed my freshmen and sophomore classes and have around 2.9 overall GPA. at the same time, I was able to score more than 2550 soooo… people say that it is an extraordinary case, I probably got the highest score in my country, and I’m not sure what to ask, just really need your feedback guys. Also, when applying to college, what might be that admission officer might ask?
How do you get 2550 on the SAT??? It’s either 1600 for the new SAT and 2400 for the old one. So if it really is 2550, then it really the extraordinary and certainly the highest in any country.
i meant 1550
Not sure what your question is. I would suggest you apply yourself more to your school work. Your GPA will weigh heavily in the college admissions process.
A college admissions officer may ask why you were able to get a high score on your SAT, but not good grades for your HS courses? Do you have a good explanation for this difference?
You’re obviously quite intelligent, your SAT score proves that. However, when applying to colleges, you’re going to be competing with people who have proven their intelligence in a number of different ways- through their GPAs, their extracurriculars, their essays, what they have done with the circumstances that they’ve been given, etc. You can’t get in on just an outstanding SAT score alone.
