High School Career Day ideas

This message is mostly for the lawyers who read these threads but I would welcome information from high school and college students about what they'd be interested in....I've been asked to talk about being a lawyer as part of a school-wide career day at the local high school. I will be talking to a social studies/history or English class, and imagine that most of the students will be unwilling captives for 45 minutes, but some may have a genuine interest in law as a career.

ANY suggestions for things to talk about, visual props, organization, etc, would be most gratefully appreciated (P.S. Yes, I'm a lawyer ;-), and have been for 28 years....but just looking for a broader scope of ideas than I as one person might have......I may do this in tandem with a friend who is a judge so it may be a shared talk.

I realize this is a very general inquiry but that is my current stage of planning (the day itself is not until December 6). Thanks in advance....

You could talk about BusinessWeek Online's Best Entrepreneurs Under 25 and the importance of protecting one's dream and assets via intellectual property law, sports and entertainment law, pre-nups, etc. http://biz.yahoo.com/special/young05.html
