I recently heard that Upenn does not require a high school diploma for admissions.
Is this true?
Also, if I do get accepted to Penn early, and have to drop out of high school due to several family issues, would that influence/change my acceptance to penn? I do have all the credits required for high school.
Any thoughts/opinions on this matter will be helpful. thanks!

Why don’t you try calling Penn? I’m not sure how it works, but some kid at my school had gotten into Harvard his Junior year, so he just completely skipped his Senior year and went straight to Harvard.

Miroku-- weird.

Jennly- That’s definitely something you’ll have to contact Penn about if admitted. I wouldn’t ask now if I were you… it might sound fishy. If you have a legitimate reason, Penn might be understanding. But I know that schools can rescind admission if a student slacks off/grades drop etc., so I assume if a student drops out of school Penn can reject an accepted student if they feel the student didn’t have a legit reason.

I don’t think it’s a question anyone on CC can answer, though…

Best of luck!

You’d need your GED I think.

That is a valid point…thank you everybody!
