Anyone else make films for film festivals? I am about to enter my first one this year and I am SO excited. haha. Its the C.A.U.S.E. Challenge, not sure if anyone knows what that is. Its basically about science education, the theme this year is "Mutual Impact: The Enviorment and You". haha.

Any one else out there make films for festivals?

No, but we have a film class for aspiring movie makers. They study filming techniques (watch movies) and submit a short film for grading (screw around on camera).

Although people have learned a lot from it. The teacher also teaches sophomore english, and whenever we watched a film, he’d tell us what the film makers were doing and what certain things signified. He’d point out stuff we’d never have noticed on our own.

Not recently. I’m way more involved in other types of filming. Me and my friend film all the football games (Its bomb), and sometimes for Dance team stuff and basketball. Otherwise, I’ve been paided to do tech stuff for concerts and stuff.

hola! i dont make films specifically for festivals but ive been in a few, yeah…mostly local though, nothing too big except one in europe that i more or less got into because of connections…good luck kate! its a lot of fun :)
