High School Forum Spam

I posted a while ago a thread titled "A thread about nothing". About 30 responses and 300 views turned out. How do you know if it is pointless without first clicking it? You knew it would be about nothing, yet you still clicked it. We're just having fun, and I think some of us are way over-reacting here.

I have NEVER contributed to the spam. Perhaps maybe once, however I post on the debates and informational topics. There are thousands of other forums on the net that you can post your nonsense. Certainly, CC is not a forum for nonsense and giggles. Go post somewhere else.

I remember you gave yourself like a billion superlatives...

Once you say...stop lying beacuse you did.

How the heck can you say this...

First, make up your mind...I could make it up for you beacuse you did post spam as well.

Wait, the fight with UCLAri, the brain surgery post, the enter key posts...you became the trendsetter for that, the superlatives posts(you made a ton of those)...

All these posts were in spam threads...

I don't get irked by other members asking to stop with spam...they usually didn't take part in it, but you did take a part...that is what irks me.

okay, since a lot of people have expressed a distaste for the constant spam threads, why don't we just agree to keep them to a minimum. let's not continue the assignment of blame or argue the merits/demerits of the spam threads. why can't we just agree that it has gotten out of hand recently and attempt to stop them from reoccurring in the future.

hotpiece, I spammed, I admit it. I apologize.... a little:p

It's just I don't like people saying I did something so wrong when they did the same thing....especially when it was just as blantant.

I should put that in the "Top Ten Things That Tick You Off" thread :p

like i said, it doesn't matter who spammed or who didn't, all that matters is that it stops. it is all in the past, so let's just acknowledge that for a brief period of time, High School Life was defined by nonsensical threads. but that time is over, so lets move on.

hehehehe, i feel like i am a Mod or something...

Depends on what you call nonsensical...:D

nonsensical being "A Thread about Nothing" or that Cheesecake thread... but yeah, can we all just get over it and agree to not litter the board again...

it's probably because of april break, all that pent-up energy, etc...

I probably won't be visiting the HS forum that much since the "fun" threads are gone now...

Let's keep in mind there were too many nonsensical threads, but craziness is what makes HS, well... HS. We need some of it. I refuse to be associated with pure seriousness.

Well all the people who were random aren't on spring break anymore lol :D

yeah, i agree with Lablondie. we don't have to eliminate all "fun" threads, but at one point, there were completely overwhelming

true @ lablondie and celebrian...back to business now...

I believe it's well-recognized that I am part of the problem? My spring break was March 9-19th :D

Spring Break just finished for me...now IB Exams!!!

Yeah, fun threads are all right, but it gets annoying when the entire page is filled with crap. If you really really want to spam, there's always the College Confidential Cafe.

Death by Cafe!

I like my posts to count...so CC Cafe bleh...they don't count..

I like my prestige(Member)...or what's left of it.
