High school math grades and Wharton chance

I know Wharton has a strong focus on math so based on my math grades would I be a good fit how would admission people see me and would I likely be admired or not

Honors algebra I in 7th grade A/A
Honors geometry in 8th grade A/A
Honors algebra II freshmen year A/A-

Okay so sophomore year was filled with Bs and is definitely a problem

I took honors pre calc first semester and got a C+ so I switched into regular pre calc and got just a flat B then over the summer I took semester one regular pre calc and got an A it also replaced that C+ in my gpa but it is still on my transcript

Junior year brief survey of calculus A-/B

This year as a senior I am taking ap statistics

I never took calc ab and is that a requirement for Wharton because I know their required freshman course for math assumes students have taken it and higher level math courses in high school are recommended

So am I a weak candidate because of my math grades my sat math section was a 770 and my math 2 subject test was a 770 my uw gpa is a 3.8 and my w gpa is a 4.3

No one cares about anything middle school related.

It’s going to be hard with out calc AB that being said there are Wharton students who do not have AP calc.

Pretty sure I read you need calc as a requirement for Wharton

its VEERRYYY strongly recomended but i now there are a select few who have gotten in without it

Hard to tell with your incomplete description – your math SAT I/II are totally fine, but your math class grades (middle school doesn’t count) are on the low end for Wharton and the lack of any calc will also hurt. What are your grades like overall – with a 3.8 gpa, where did you get B’s? As with most schools, the closer your are to perfect straight A’s in the hardest classes, the more “likely” it is that you’ll get into Wharton. What’s your class rank and what kind of school are you in/where? If you’re coming from an under represented state like Nebraska, you are much better off with your stats than if you’re from NY/Ca/NJ/Pa.
