So, I used to think I come from a small place. Geographically, we're pretty much in the middle of nowhere, and resource-wise I might as well be in a desert (not entirely incidentally, this used to be a desert pre-irrogation). But I'm looking around at everyone's posts here, and there are like 300 people per senior class. Mine has about 650; 3000 total for the whole school because of the explosion in housing development.

What does this mean? What's normal for the Ivy applicant? How can my school be so huge and so backwards at the same time? Grrr....suburbia.

650 seems large for a high school...or if not large, then definitely not small. I come from a rural/suburban area, and my senior class is 400, which is far too overcrowded for the size of the school (which isn't really that small of a building). I guess it's all just relative to the geographic area.

in the senior class we have like 632 i think. and overall a tad over 3000. in so cal i think everywhere is like that. cuz its such a great place to be of course.

87 and will most likely decrease to 80 by the end of this trimester. My school kicks out students that don't have enough credits to graduate, so there are no super seniors.
