What are the colleges that give u the most salary after u come out graduated (4 years)? (regardless of major)

i think its MIT

I think it's the job that gets you the money not the college you attend.

not just what job... it's also the connections you have

Engineers are highly paod right out of college compaared to most but quickly loose the advantage. Just talking to an MIT engineer yesterday who makes less than many plumbers!

I do not believe I have ever seen data that compares actual beginning salaries of graduates. It is also something that is near impossible to compare. For example, if 10 Caltech students come out and work in the silicon valley and start at $55,000, and 10 Iowa State enginneering students start out in Davenport at $47,000 a year, then based on the difference in the cost of living, those in Davenport would actually be making more than those in the silicon valley.

I do think that graduating from certain colleges will get you a higher starting salary, i.e. a Stanford or Berkeley degree will be more lucrative than a degree from a California state college.

There is a online article on CollegeJournal.com that talks briefly about starting salaries for new graduates, but only lists salaries for a few selected majors (chemical engineering, consulting, accounting, etc.). This url may be too long to work properly...

Another article talks about the starting for petroleum engineers...

Here is a list of recruiters' top schools...

I can't find anything about graduating from which colleges yield the highest starting salaries.

petroleum engineers are an exception to the rule
and business is als(business isnt a field where a degree is really needed)
