Highly Quantitative Careers in Business?

I love all aspects of science, especially applied mathematics and physics. However, I don't want to become an engineer. Instead, I really want to work in the world of business.

I have taken the basic microeconomics and macroeconomics courses in college, but I did not really seem to enjoy it that much. Maybe it's because not much math was involved since it's an introductory course? I plan to take accounting next quarter, but I don't think I will enjoy that either.

So I was wondering, what are some highly quantitative careers in business where I can use complex mathematics to solve problems?

Someone suggest becoming an actuary or a quant. Are there any others?

+1 to the stats/actuary/quantity surveyor options

Purchasing? Logistics?

Intro to macro/micro classes arent demanding classes since they often count for gen-ed. Economics involves calculus and statistics and is very theoretical degree once you start progressing into the upper-division classes.

Finance is highly quantitative. There are also aspects of market research that you may find interesting. Good luck!
