Hispanic College Fund question

<p>I'm sure it's legit, but I just need to know if anybody has any experience with it. </p>

<p>I am SUPER paranoid about giving my social security number to anything and anyone and the HCF website asks for your social security number. </p>

<p>I would just avoid the website, but unfortunately it seems to be the only thing that gives Hispanic scholarships.</p>

<p>Yes it is legit and safe. My kiddos have all applied for various scholies through this organization and have also provided some good opportunities AFTER they were in college, ie internships, summer programs, grad school opportunities.</p>
