Being hispanic obviously gives a clear advantage in the admissions process. My parents are from Argentina and I identify with the hispanic culture. However, my skin is merely tan (racially most would call me white).

Is race a barrier at Wake? Do minorities get any strange (unwanted) special treatment? What I am basically saying is this: I am going to check in the box that I am hispanic, but will that be the end of it? Or will I start getting phone calls from hispanic organizations/letters of encouragement based on race?
