History and Political Science Applications - My chances?

I can't wait another three months, I'm interested to know what you think my chances are...

Stats:
90% undergrad average from a relatively unknown Canadian liberal arts school
4.0 GPA from a semester on fellowship at Ivy League School
Currently an MA student at well-known Canadian school (no GPA yet)
GRE: 600 Q, 640 V, 4.5 AW (second try) (first try my Q was higher, my V lower)

Other stuff:
- full scholarships throughout undergrad and grad school
- 6 conference presentations, 1 publication under review
- work with a very interesting research group, plus TA experience
- most likely some pretty sweet references

American Schools I applied to:

Cornell
Brown
Notre Dame
Ohio State
U of Michigan

Think I have a chance at any of them?

Grad admissions for PhD is far more subjective than undergraduate admissions. So we cannot evaluate your chances based on the numbers you have given us. Your statement of purpose, writing sample, and LORs are much more important.

You are not the only one who has to wait.

You would also need to give us a better idea what you are specializing in and why you’re applying to some programs in history and others in political science. In other words, why and how you are a match for a given department. Believe me – I am sympathetic. I’ve also got applications in two disciplines but that is because I have a strong regional specialty that could lead in two directions. Hang in there. We’re all tearing our hair out!
