Any opinions about where my daughter who is interested in history and anthropology might go to college in Texas? Here are her basics:

HS Class of 2012
Will graduate at top of large Texas high school (650+ in class)
SAT 1970; will take again in Fall
ACT 32; may take again
Doesn't do standardized tests particularly well; has huge test anxiety
Quiet, reserved, serious student; perfectionis
Strong all-around student; could major in sciences or English or possibly even math, but loves history.
Is not interested in being a K-12 teacher although doesn't discount being a college professor
Is not interested in being an attorney at this time
Loves museums and has a librarian mother--not sure she wants to work in either

We have visited Trinity University, Southwestern, Baylor (Honors programs), and UT (Honors). She has attended camps or UIL events at Texas Tech and TCU. We have not discounted at least trying for Rice, but her father and I feel that it would be a lot of pressure for her. She likes the idea of a small to medium school, but thinks she could do UT if necessary.

I appreciate any discussion. DD interests and goals are ambiguous, so it's a little hard for me to ask many specific questions without writing an even looonger post. Also, she doesn't have a strong preference for any of the colleges she's visited. Thank you!
