Hmmm....well, that's not good

<p>April SAT scores have finally come in, but in my case, the results aren't too happy looking. My scores seem to have flip flopped a little bit, and though the combined best scores aren't looking too bad, would colleges look at this sudden change of strengths negatively?</p>

<p>Do they combine scores? My daughter got her scores today and went down total by 10 points from December, but went up quite a bit on math, down a little on CR and down a lot on essay. She thought they would pick the best scores. Is that true?</p>

<p>I am not sure...but I have heard from others that this combining of scores is true. I hope so, though.</p>

<p>depends on the college. some accept best combined whereas others will look at your best sitting. best way to be sure is to check with whichever college your daughter's interested in</p>
