Holy Cross Scenes in "The Express" Movie about Ernie Davis

You might want to rent a movie called "The Express" which is a movie about the life of Ernie Davis, the first African American to win the Heisman trophy. There were a couple of great moments in the film, when they recreated scenes of the Holy Cross-Syracuse games of 1958 and 1959. As some will remember, the Crusaders were the last team to beat Syracuse before they became undefeated National Champions and defeated Texas in the Cotton Bowl. They did a passable job of recreating Archbold Stadium, and the game atmosphere, as well. The Syracuse schedule that year was an interesting demonstration of college football before the current era, and the schedule included such teams as Kansas, Penn State, Pitt and UCLA, while also playing Boston University, Colgate, BC and Holy Cross.
