<p>UA Homecoming Features ‘The Tradition Rolls On’ Theme</p>

<p>The University of Alabama will welcome students, parents, alumni and visitors to campus during Homecoming Week 2011, to be held Sunday, Oct. 2-Saturday, Oct. 8. This year’s Homecoming theme is “The Tradition Rolls On.”</p>

<p>The highlight of the week will be the UA football game against Vanderbilt University at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 8, time to be announced.</p>

<p>The week will begin with the 23rd annual Roll Tide Run on Sunday, Oct. 2. The run is set to begin on Capstone Drive, with registration and check-in held at the rear entrance of Gorgas Library. Registration will begin at 9 a.m., and the race will begin at 10 a.m. The Crimson Kickoff powder puff charity football game will also be held Sunday from 1:30-5:30 p.m. on the Quad.</p>

<p>Paint the Town Red and the Banner Competition will begin Monday, Oct. 3, as campus organizations show their school spirit across Tuscaloosa. The UA Homecoming Bowling Tournament is also planned for Oct. 3 and will begin at 9 p.m. at Bama Bowl on 15th St.</p>
