Homeschool Mess Up?

I’m an in state student interested in Michigan. I am home-schooled and didn’t take any AP tests which i’m worried about. Can someone chance me for admission with these stats? I’m not worried about EC’s and have a bunch of decent ones. I’m more worried score wise.
Stats:
SAT: 1580- 780 English/800 Math
Subject Tests:
Math 2: 800
Bio M: 770
Chem: 780
Physics: 780

If you don’t get in, it won’t be because of those scores.

So is my lack of AP tests covered by the subject tests?

I don’t know the answer to that.

Did you take AP Classes? (Is there a way to even certify that if you’re homeschooled and didn’t take the tests?)

@homeboyz AP “classes” are not required in order to take AP exams. Anyone can self-study the material and take the tests. It is generally stated that AP exams have little weight in Admissions, although they might carry a bit more weight for homeschoolers as outside validation of academic achievement. But I am not aware of any college that requires AP exams for homeschoolers.

Have you read the UMICH requirements for homeschooled applicants? You need to research and know these well for any school to which you apply. Check the homeschooled section at the link below; it answers your question.

Plenty of successful homeschoolers don’t take AP tests. As a homeschooler, you are often limited to online classes for AP tests which can be expensive and not for everyone. Don’t get hung up on AP. Subject tests are fine.

There are many kids in high schools with few or no APs. So it’s a situation that adcoms understand, and very different from applicants at high schools lots of AP classes who take none.

I did not take any AP classes and not take the test for some reason. I just skipped that whole chapter (lol) entirely. Thanks guys, I feel a lot better overall.
