HWG, you didn’t inconvenience me. Not at all.

What were your reasons for resurrecting a thread nearly 3 years old?

I agree with FLVADAD and Parenthesis, we’ve already read your side. Yes we all want to hear both sides, but you’ve ALREADY told your story here, what value can you add by bringing this thread back to life? I’m thankful for the additional feedback we’ve gotten from other posters.

I believe the W&L board isn’t as active as others because the school is so small. If your claim to fame that this thread is the longest thread on this board… yep, I still think you’re bitter and haven’t gotten over your experience. I’m sorry about that and hope you can learn to move on with your life. Congrats on graduating from Drew. Why not spend your time on their board? You’d be more productive there.

I go to W&L right now. I’m not sure why this thread is going on, as it provides insights to neither students (current or prospective) nor parents about the school.

If any parents or prospective students have questions about the school, I would be glad to answer them. I didn’t know anyone at the school before I went there. I took a gamble and have had a great time. I have one more year left. It helps to have someone answer small things (whats the town like, where is the freshman parking, should I bring a hall…list goes on and on.)

Thanks Chris. Maybe you can start a new thread if you don’t mind so we can send this one back into the abyss where it belongs.

Hey, I just popped in to see what has transpired for the last two years since I visited. Nothing seems to have changed.
Other than my child who will be a junior loves it. Offered to transfer elsewhere closer to home–“No way” was the response.
Concurred it is one tough academic school but great teachers for the most part.
I ask all who care about the school or are parents to dig into their pockets and help out. even a dollar. endowment down dramatically.
