Honors at CSU v. CU

Does anyone know how they compare?

bump…?

Well, FWIW, my DD guidance counsellor at her CO high school says CSU has the better honors program now. I guess they have put resources into that program that CU hasn’t and high schoole kids are starting to respond. I don’t have a kid at either though, just passing along the info the counsellors are saying. I have noticed more kids picking CSU than in the past but maybe that is renewed interest in the STEM programs and Ft. Collins growing rep as a fun place.

CSU requires you to apply for the honors program, whereas CU you can automatically be admitted. Does anybody know anything about how the students of the two campuses compare? I’m trying to decide CU vs. CSU and I’ve heard CU can be very drug/420-friendly. And I’m a little more on the conservative side- would CSU be any less liberal?

Any replies would help, thanks!

Well yes CSU is less liberal because it is impossible to me more liberal than CU unless you’re in Cuba. But it’s still not a conservative campus. Yes CU is drug friendly just google image 420 CU and you’ll see. For me CSU was the best fit as I was also deciding between the two, ultimately I decided I would rather spend four years at CSU than CUbut that’s just me. Good luck.
