Does anyone know when we hear about whether or not we are in the honors college / what stats are needed to be in it?
I looked this up a few months ago, pretty positive it’s invitation based (but I think they still take applications if you don’t get invited?), and I recall the average SAT score being 1420. Hoping to hear more info about it, too.
Do they send a email or letter or will it just show on the portal?
I think they’re supposed to send an email or letter invitation.

Letters came out in the mail today regarding the honors college
Congrats everyone! Does anyone know if we will get a letter/email saying if we didn’t get in to the honors program? Either way I am so happy to be accepted to Villanova and will probably apply to the honors program anyway 
Can you be invited to the honors college if you were nominated for the Presidential Scholarship?
@123bcc, yes you absolutely can. The Presidential Scholarship is much more difficult to get. I’m almost positive that many Presidential Scholarship recipients are also in the Honors Program. The two are not mutually exclusive, which is nice. That way, you could potentially be in the Honors Program and not have to pay for tuition/room/board – pretty cool. However, a nomination for the Presidential Scholarship does not guarantee that you’ll be invited to the Honors Program.
