I’m currently working on my UW Honors app essay. Does it have to be a narrative essay? With a question like “what is our society’s achilles heel” my essay so far has been an unfeeling analysis with a intro thesis body body conc. Especially since it’s 300 words it’s getting hard to know what these admission officers want from me
It really depends on how you execute it. But I imagine that the topics usually relate on a personal level to the person writing about it, either because he/she has experienced or witnessed the “achilles heel” or because he/she is invested in countering whatever vice or social ill it is.
