<p>No, the only way to get into the honors program as a transfer student is to have at least a 3.6 GPA after one semester of taking classes at Tech. This same rule applies to regular students who weren’t initially accepted into the honors program straight out of high school.</p>
<p>When you transfer here, you can’t just automatically apply for the honors program. After taking one semester of classes though, the honors program will invite you if your GPA is a 3.6 or above. At that point, you have to fill out an application (ie, essay, activity sheet- but I’m still fairly sure you won’t have to show your SAT).</p>
