Does anyone know if the UHP and merit money tend to go hand in hand? If I make it into the Honors Program, will I likely receive merit money? If I don’t make it into the Honors Program, will I not receive merit money? I have read what’s on the website, but I am looking for more information.
Above average admits are more likely to get into the honors program. Above average admits also are more likely to get merit awards. The two therefore are correlated. However, the decision to apply to UHP and your subsequent acceptance/rejection from the program have no direct impact on merit money.
