I’m having a really hard time choosing a college. I’m a poli sci major and want to go to law school. I’ve been accepted to all UC’s and have toured those that I considered which were CAL, UCLA, UCSD, UCI and UCSB. I loved the UCSB campus and felt comfortable with the faculty and students I met. I worked really hard in high school and feel like I should go to a higher ranked school. Does anyone have any personal knowledge of the UCSB honors program (small weekly sessions with professors), and if so, do you think the honors program could give the school the edge to make a “sane” person choose UCSB over other higher ranked schools?

Hey I was in your exact same shoes a while ago and I did end up choosing UCSB. It just depends on where you feel comfortable....The honors program is great (or so I've heard) and though it may not measure up to cal or ucla, it IS a good program and a good school. Choose wisely! :-)
