I was reading some posts on this forum and noticed a lot of people mentioning the tulane honors program. what exactly is this and how does one apply for it?
This is a program for students who are the most serious about academics, are interested in doing research at the highest levels while at Tulane, and are possibly looking for prestigious fellowships and the like when they are done at Tulane, such as a Rhodes Scholarship as just one example. These students are probably going to attend grad school in greater numbers than the Tulane class as a whole.
You get invited to the program based on your application to Tulane. But if you were not invited when you got your acceptance, you can earn your way in by achieving at least a 3.8 GPA in your freshman year. If you are not sure if you were invited or not, check with admissions.
