I hope everyone is enjoying their new home at HPU. I know it's (the school) not for everyone but, for those of you who think it is, enjoy. Make new, life-long friends and take advantage of lessons to be learned--both in and out of the classroom.
Parents, as difficult as it is to let your children leave you, know that they will be looked after. Not all freshmen will stay through graduation but when they do come "home", they will be forever changed. They will mature and become more of their own person just by being away on their own.
Good luck to everyone this academic year. Make the most of it!

Can’t believe it has almost been 3 weeks! I also hope everyone is enjoying their time at HPU. My son is so happy thus far. Already met lots of great people and he went to his first club meeting this week. He was amazed at the orientation fair at the amount of clubs and other ways to get involved. Classes have been good too, but I told him not to get too comfortable because the college work load will hit him eventually!

I have to say, the move in experience was mind blowing. I was expecting to be sweating and stressed… Well I was still stressed (mom issues…), but no sweat! Those students got our boxes to the room in less than five minutes. Very impressive, and great convocation ceremony to wrap it all up.

Good luck HPU Students. Here’s to another fantastic year for you all.
