can an asian student currently at cornell who went to a high school with 20%+ amount of asians answer? i think a person who fits in this category could answer in a standard similar to mine.

sparticus800, maybe you can ask one of your asian friends and post here. if possible, that would be splendid.

"azn pryd" sometimes turns into "I hate white people" which really annoys the hell out of me. I really can't stand exclusivists, if that's even a word. The asians/azns, if there is a difference, who I have met at cornell have been very tolerant though. I remember being at an "asian frat party" with one of my asian friends and being pretty much the only white guy but having nobody looking at me like i was weird or anything.

haha, don't worry. Very few azns at Cornell. I have a friend who joined an asian frat. Still down to earth etc. Btw, the asian frats HAZE like no other. I loved being hazed and I did some pretty crazy things I deffinitly won't talk about online or in public for legal reasons etc. But the Asian frats, nutz. You can easily tell who is pledging an Asian frat. They all walk arround with shaved heads and camouflage pants. There's a bunch of other stuff I've heard about, but I don't think it's fair for me to talk about it.

I have two questions:
1. Why would you want to join a frat if not for the parties?

Do they make you compromise morals when they haze you (i.e. drink beer if you're against it, smoke if you're against it, do stuff with guys if you don't swing that way)? I think I could tolerate shaving my head and wearing pants as long as they don't make me compromise my morals.

There is alot of gay sex involved. Pledging was the first time I ever buggered another man, but hey, you get used to it. That's what brotherhood is all about. I joined a frat to get with chicks, so naturally railing a dude was worth all the drunken underage vagina.
