Who here likes hotdogs?
What do you like on them?
How do you like to consume them?

Only if they’re grilled and kosher. Just ketchup. Usually cut with a fork lol, but buns are alright sometimes.

^That, but on a bun with mustard, ketchup and sauerkraut. I can’t imagine eating a hot dog with all those yucky extra parts in it.

^^ Same, except I cook them in the microwave because I don’t have a grill and I don’t know how else to cook them. I also don’t care if they’re Kosher or not.

The best restaurant-made hotdogs are Nathan’s. The original. In Coney Island.

^Word, and the fries are good with that red fork.

^ Yes. Nathan’s also makes the best frozen french fries.
I wish I lived in Brooklyn. I would buy Nathan’s every day.
The ones in mall food courts (ew ) just do not compare to the original.

I used to live like 15 minutes from a huge Nathan’s with an arcade, good times. 2 Hot dogs, a thing of fries and some NBA Jam = Win as an elementary school kid, haha.

Chicago > New York

I love the hot dogs from baseball parks. They always taste better. And I love hot links.
For both: mayo and onions.

I love hotdogs!!! But it sickens me to think what some are made of I like eating them with a bun, ketchup ( sometimes nacho cheese), relish, grilled onions, tomatoes.

^What are they made of?

hotdogs from a vender in nyc

the works

I used to like hotdogs. Then, one day, I realized that there’s just something about them, I’m still not sure what it is, that I find gross.

I had my last hot dog when I was 7. Haven’t touched one since.

^^^
It’s completely synthetic. They take the intestines of slaughtered animals, stuff them with Grade D meat that can’t be used for any other purpose, then dump lard, preservatives, and other chemicals into it so it will taste good and last for a long time.

It’s basically not fit to eat…

Hotdogs are only good if you don’t think about what they’re made of.

They’re nice, but it’s a little sad that they’re an “authentic” American food. Says a lot about our culture.

I could really use a hot dog right now.

Regarding ingredients: Kosher dogs are usually “safer.”
they aren’t usually made with the typical scrap meat.

I read the ingredients of my favorite hotlinks once. It was…gross. Really gross.
Now, I just try not to think about it.

^Eggs-actly.

Exactly! Which is why I try to limit my hot dog intake to about 1 per every couple of months and when I do eat one I try not to think about it, since they taste sooooo good

Also Kosher doesn’t mean its safer and uses higher quality meat, sometimes it might, but the term in general means no pork.

i prefer steak and mashed potatoes.
