<p>I have just been accepted to the U of C and am most likely going to go there. Looking at all of this stuff, the hardest decision seems to be choosing a house. It's a lot more difficult than choosing a dorm at a standard college because there seem to be a lot more implications with choosing one. I'm going to be visiting Chicago this coming weekend and staying with a friend but is there any easy way to choose a House? (How I wish the Sorting Hat could step in and help).</p>

<p>You can choose your dorm with help from the link buggles gave you, but I’m pretty sure individual houses (within each dorm) are assigned.</p>
