<p>When I try to fill out my housing app in the NYU Home site, it only says that a "Waitlist application" is available, not a housing app. I sent my acceptance letter thing on May 1st (I was having a hard time deciding among colleges) to NYU--it's now May 6th, so I would assume my response/check was already recieved. I mean, it reallyyyy should not take more than 5 days for a letter to get from Chicago to NYC. So my question is: my housing app isn't showing up, only this waitlist app. What is going on? The note on the side of the site says that an app may not be up because NYU might not have received my check yet, but it's been 5 days already. Should I be worried? I want to do Explorations, and the form is due May 11th. Help!!</p>
<p>It took our deposit check quite a while to clear. It's not a matter of getting to NYU, but getting through NYU. I'd call the admissions office about your concern regarding the Explorations deadline.</p>
<p>same case here. sent in my deposit on the 30th.. but now when i log into NYUhome i have more tabs available for browsing so i'm guessing my deposit went through, but have not yet reached the housings peeps... :] maybe few more days?</p>
