Housing Assignments (Transfer)

So I finally got my housing contract. I got a double in minisuite in Unit 2, so Im happy I dont have to use coed bathrooms. Does anyone have experience with these minisuites? Did anyone else get their contract yet?

i just got my housing contract as well. i got a double in clark kerr. first choice. yaaaaay.

hmm. i also requested a roomate, who also requested me. she stabalized a double in clark kerr at the end of the spring semester.

i don't know if she is my roomate..and it doesn't so say anywhere..

do any of you know how to find it if i got her as my roomate, or who my roomate will be at all?

I dont know when were going to find out about roommates, but I know that last year everyone found out on August 2, so we might be in for a wait.

Yay! I got doubles at Unit 3.. so I'm happy about that.. :)

dude. no fair. i wanna know if i got her....

i'm going to call...and just ask if my request was honored. if it wasn't..at least i know who my roommate WON'T be.

yikes, 500 bucks is due in ten days. gotta get on that.

i didn't get any of my choices, and got triple at unit 2... i hate triples, and i don't want to room with freshmen.

off-campus housing is so much cheaper anyway

ccmadforever, you may want to check out the berkeley co-ops. It provides the social jolt that a dorm will have, but is cheaper and not all freshmen. http://www.usca.org/

unit 3 transfer hall double,

anyone else?

crying...
i got a double room at Stern Hall :-(
My requested roommate and I are thinking of living off-campus

aw, stern isn't so bad!

at first i was turned off about it being an all-girls dorm, but it's actually really nice, especially if you get the new wing of dorms. besides, you'll be spending a lot of time outside the dorms anyhow, so you'll still see enough of the male gender, haha.

i actually requested stern as one of my choices. to me, the units (with the exception of the new suites) were incredibly cramped, and the environment at the foothill dorms was a bit too quiet for my taste.

i'm in clark kerr, which was my first choice, but now i have to deal with co-ed bathrooms. heh...

were you able to get your requested roommate?

<3,

Izzie Bear

umm...it didnt say on the contract, but i guess i got my requested roommate.

I still don't have my housing assignment. Hmmm...

hmm..you should call the housing office. the signed contracts and deposit are due july 1st - no exceptions. you should let them know you haven't gotten it, because it takes a few days for the mail to arrive, depending on where you live.

p.s. this might be obvious, but make sure you are checking your cal mail account. (@berkeley.edu), and not your regular account.

I haven't been checking my calmail account because I'm forwarding everything in my inbox to my regular email. But thanks for the reminder. :)

I will call them tomorrow and find out what's up.

the people at the housing office have been really helpful to me. good luck!

btw, where were you hoping to live? Just curious where the bulk of the CC transfers are shacking up. :)
