Has anyone gotten their housing assignments, some people have received them already, i was just wondering

I don't have mine yet. I don;t know anyone who has heard anything yet.

My housing information still says mid - late Aug.

yup..mine too..
havent heard anything yet..=.=

Some dude on the UCD class 2009 group at MYSPACE says he's gotten his and he was placed in Miller Hall. I went to my housing website and they upgraded my status to currently processing. I have a feeling, most of us will know towards the end of this week.

When I was an incomming freshman... I didn't know my housing assignment until probably the first week of September (even though they claim mid august).. and I still found out a week before my friends. -- (I was doing a summer program called STEP, and instead of mailing the assignments to our houses, they delivered them to us on campus)... I got a 1 bedroom, just like I wanted :)

^^No roomie? Awww, cmon now..

I HATED the dorms. I requested to be in the substance/drug free building because I thought that would keep me away from people vomiting outside my door. Boy was I wrong! They also place people under 18 in there.. whether they wanted to be substance free or not. It soon became the 'substance and drug FILLED' building. The stairwells smelled like pot, alcohol was not in short supply.
In fact, one of the RA's got kicked out for drinking with students IN the building on halloween. (The 2nd RA quit because it was 'too much' for her to handle alone)... so we were RA-less for the majority of the year. But to top things off, people thought that I was the one that rated out the RA for drinking since I was one of the few people that was actually substance free. Needless to say they weren't particularly nice to me for the remainder of the year even though I knew nothing about him being kicked out for almost a month (I never went upstairs).

Sounds like you just had a bad experience.

But hey, its a good story to tell, eh?

what?
so when is it that we gonna know?
they shouldnt have that bad efficiancy as like what Pearlin- said..:P
oh my..
ha..so do usually students get what they wanted?

Housing Website...
I got put in tercero Pierce G Building...in the substance free thingy on the second floor. I wasn't happy about it... so I requested a room change to Segundo... plus I think my room mate is cholo...

Wow. I got placed in Tercero building 2.

All my requests were for Segundo. Actually I mainly applied for the Music Arts and Performance Program (Sereno) in Regan. Kinda bummed I didn't get in there... though I was pretty late on my request if that had any bearing.

Oh well.

Don't see squat on the housing website....Help! I want to know!

housing.ucdavis.edu? Theres no place to log in or anything. Im totally confused..

be happy... tercero has a wonderful thing called air conditioning... unlike some of the old segundo buildings... it gets hot in the summer.

Oh sweet nevermind. This building is brand new. No complaints here.

Help! Whats the website exactly?

Go to your myadmissions website and go to the housing request thing from there.
