Housing at UChicago

Hi!
I had a question about grad housing.
Is anyone familiar with grad housing at UChicago?
Not the fancy new NGRH or International House, but the plain old ones scattered around Hyde Park.

Well, I just submitted my deposit to hold an apartment, but was wondering if it's too late to lay out a list of specific requests. It is first pay, first serve, after all. Anyways, just wanted to see if anyone out there was in a similar situation.

Thanks!

I checked them out a month ago.

I know you're not living there, but Intl House sucks. I stayed there for 2 nights and it was a dorm with older and more interesting people. Accomodations were summer-campish.

On the UC Grad Housing map (from their website), check out the locations in the northern part of Hyde Park (on the map, these are the 20 through 27 spots). Also, Nicols Park wasnt a bad area. dont go west of the campus. It is muy ghetto and there isnt anything out there.

Also, set your expectations kind of low. Chicago is an amazing city, but Hyde Park merely suffices.
