Housing Deadline Exception?

I turned in my prepayment of 500 dollars like yesterday june 29, yes i know it's late but my parents couldn't get the money in time and i barely had time to pull it off. And so i completed the contract and the contract says if you complete it, it's guaranteed housing, but then it also says if you dont submit the 500 dollars, u wont get guaranteed housing. Well it turns out i got an email today saying i inputed the wrong account number, i must have mistaken a number or two and so the 500 dollars wasnt submitted. I really hope i can change the account number and everything will be alright... So will housing give me any chance to fix it to guarantee housing? man...i really hope so...wut do u guys think? or do u guys have any info on this? opinions or any kind of help please....thankz

In the confirmation e-mail it says the transaction isnt complete till they actually get the $500,but I don't wanna make u anxious,I think you should call them as soon as you can,and I'm sure they'll consider your case, just explain evrything about your situation to them clearly and u should b fine.......

Thankz cooladu, hopefully they'll understand my situation. I'm doing whatever it takes to get that guarantee of housing

No, sorry. The People in charge of housing said that they need to get everything by June 30th, no exceptions.

But i guess it wouldnt hurt to try.

Damn are you serious? I mean it's not like i didn't attempt to complete the contract before the deadline. It was a number input error. There just has to be some kind of exception....Commuting to UCSD would be a 2 hour drive, and then another 2-3 hrs back cuz of traffic...=</p>

Turns out other people had the same problem I had, thank goodness they made an exception and i hand-delivered my check to them today :). O yea by the way cooladu, thanks for the confidence boost, really needed that =P

haha.....netime bud ;)
