Housing Forms?

About how long does it take for the housing forms to come up after your deposit is sent? Mine still says Session has expired

took me five days.

only took one day for me.

business days? or weekends included?

Are you saying you have already received the "detailed instrctions on completing the online housing application" for freshmen this year?

http://www.nyu.edu/housing/applications/procedure.html

My son can access the housing form from the Albert Website. We sent in our deposit on 4/5 and got the 'official' welcome letter this week

ive received nothing :(

I got my housing forms a few days ago, and I haven't received any detailed instructions or anything like that. In fact, I only know of one person who's RD who has.

I sent my deposit in at the beginning of April. They've been activating forms in waves; each day, a new group of people get their forms. You're not alone; don't worry. :)

I didn't apply to NYU online, can i still check housing status and things like that online? If so, then where?

Login to NYUHome:

http://home.nyu.edu

On the home screen if NYU has received your deposit (including the Housing deposit) your access to the housing forms will be enabled.

Once in Housing you'll have access to:

2007-2008 Freshman Application
2007-2008 Freshman Matching Questionaire
Fall 2007 Freshman Application Instructions.

Once you've completed the forms due by May 11th you will also be able to check the

2007-2008 Freshman Status

The Housing Forms are due by May 11th. The Housing deosit of $1,000 is due May 31st.

I still have not received my housing app info (I got a general brochure about how to go about filling out the app once I get the go ahead from NYU). Does the sched that hsseniorlooking posted mean that I will get the app in time for me to fill it out by May 11th? If most RDers have not gotten their yet, will it all come in one massive wave very soon?

I sent in the deposit on April 20th ish and have confirmed with the mail delivery service that it was delivered. Should I be worried?

Go on-line. Use your NYU account. The acceptance packet you received had instructions to set up your NYU Home account. They mention that NYU considers email an 'official communication". Hopefully, you'll get some paper forms also. But you can also get most stuff electronically too!

I'm new too. I read the stuff they sent mre though.

Housing forms are due May 11??

I don't see that anywhere. I see May 31 for due dates for forms and $$

My understanding is that applications for speciality housing programs (explorations, res college and choices) are due 5/11 and others are due 5/31.

related question- anyone know if it's possible to tour the dorms over the weekend?

I can't log in to NYU home. It keeps saying that i have to finish the process at an NYU tech. office.

did you activate your id (you have to use the NXXXXXXXX) id to get the Nyu.home number. they are different.

https://start2.nyu.edu/ibin/start0.cgi to activate

http://www.nyu.edu/its/faq/nyuhome/#trouble for help

thank you!

i keep getting this message:
According to our records, you have performed the on-line portion of your NetID activation, and must now visit an on-campus location in order to complete the activation process.

call the help desk!

Because it is not necessary to go to the campus to do this. I don't know if anyone here is going to be able to trouble shoot this for you

If you encounter problems, telephone assistance may be obtained by calling the ITS Client Services Center at (212) 998-3333 (open Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-midnight, and Saturday-Sunday, noon-midnight).

Thanks. I call A.S.A.P!!
