Hey, wenzheng, we’re in the same house!

Hello phanatic! I am on the 2nd floor.

Cool! I look forward to meeting you. I’m on the third floor.

Comstock! :D

Wz, I don’t know what “open double” vs “double” means…and D was in Hubbard. Hope you enjoy the Hub. There’s a fourth-floor double referred to as “the ballroom” because it’s so huge.

rocket6, which room? I lived in 302 and 304. Feel free to bring this to PM. :)

In Smith vernacular “open double” means you’re in a double room without a roommate.

I’m a triple in Lamont :D

@TD
I believe I will enjoy my stay in Hub. I’ve already heard lots of good words about it!

@borgin
Yeah, you are right. I found out later that “open double room” was said to my roommate. She is a current smithie so she used to have an open double room, and now she has a roommate.

I’m in Gardiner! Time to go get some green clothes

An open double usually means that there’s only one student assigned to that room, even though it is a double. This is pretty rare, especially for first year room assignments, it’s usually something that happens when one roommate decides to leave the room during the year for whatever reason, or sometimes when a student withdraws after housing assignments are made but before classes actually begin.

I’m in Lawrence :D

I’m in Albright!

Yay Lilbeebee! You’ll love Albright; we have a great house community. I’ll technically be living in Dawes (the French house) this year, but since I’m just across the street, I imagine that I’ll be one of the “honorary Albrighters” who confuses the first years. “Wait…do you live here?” I can vouch for the fact that my fellow '13s and the rest of the house are all friendly and excited to welcome the new first years, especially your fabulous HONS and SAAs!

yay! Thanks Cygne I’m excited!

I’m in Hubbard!!! yayyy anyone else?

Great house, VC. :)
