<p>You will not get a single dorm, unless there is some sort of documented medical condition that requires such a specific, spealized dorm room. Freshman do get to fill out a questionnaire about their preferences, but they are very general in nature and won’t have much impact on the fact that freshman are randomly assigned the traditional style dorms (large, older buildings, co-ed by halls, double occupancy). The dorms that offer more choices, amenities, newer, are typically for the upperclassman who do get the benefit of being in the housing lottery and making specific dorm/room requests.</p>
