what's the deal with the dining halls at Snell and Max P...how near are they to the dorms and how easy is it to get to them

They both eat at Bartlett. It's closer to Max P than Snell/Hitchock. It's on the same quad as Max P., so it's about a 60 second walk from the dorm to the dining hall. Snell's probalby a couple of minutes' walk.

Ok this might be a stupid question, but does Bartlett look as cool as the B-J dining hall?

In my opinion - no. It has it's own charm but its much bigger latent gymnasium feel doesn't compare.

Its menu and food service style is also different. One may want to sample each.

Barlett has one thing (besides better food) that neither Pierce nor B-J have: A large seal over the entrance to the lobby that dedicates the building "For the Glory of Manly Sports."

bartlett is one of the greatest things about this university in so many ways. b-j dining hall is also way overrated. the food is not too good, its really expensive for those not on their meal plan (although this is really just a personal beef, and obviously doesnt affect those who eat there), and its pretty small.

I'm a Bartlett fan, myself. The food's significantly better than at the other dining halls, and there's really no beating the entry sign Maroon mentioned: To the advancement of Physical Education and the Glory of Manly Sports.

I realized that chicago was proud of bartlett when they ushered all the prospective students there- not letting nyone eat at the other dining halls.

My S must be in the minority, he prefers BJ dining over Bartlett.

Sooooooo........another stupid question. Is the inside courtyard of B-J as cool looking as the outside?
