<p>So Ive memorized Barrons top 300 words PR's top word list now munching down Kaplans top 295 words. But right now Im kinda lost what I shud do next. I went thru PRs practice test which was kinda weird cuz it didnt even seem like a practice test....but anyways gonna do barrons practice tests as well. But are there any verbal workbooks out there so I can keep practice the verbal section? Most review books dont have that much practice questions. Ive found that PR has a verbal workbook and a comprehensive workbook and has anybody done it to share some info on those?</p>

Firstly, if you want advice regarding the GRE, I suggest you head over to the [TestMagic</a> Test Prep](<a href=“http://www.testmagic.com%5DTestMagic”>http://www.testmagic.com) GRE forums. One note is they go overkill with the studying sometimes. You DO NOT—I repeat— DO NOT need to start memorizing those 1000+ word lists they recommend. You’ll regret having wasted your time doing that.</p>

<p>I have some experience with the verbal so here is my advice.</p>

<p>You started off well by memorizing the Barron top 300. Kaplan’s top 295 is also solid.</p>

<p>Now go through the Barron’s verbal section and do all the practice problems.</p>

<p>After that, go do the 5 practice tests at the back of the Barron’s book. Time yourself. But don’t time yourself for 30mins. Set the time limit at 20-25minutes. You want to pick up your pace.</p>

<p>Notice where you are making the mistakes:</p>

<p>For most people there are two sources of errors in Verbal:</p>

<h1>1. They don’t know the meaning of a word.</h1>

<h1>2. They make mistakes with the reading comprehension problems. I know the RC problems are dry and take a while but you need to get the hang of them.</h1>

<p>After all this is said and done, download a Pdf of the ETS BIGBOOK.</p>

<p>It is a set of 27 past GRE tests from years ago (1995 I think). Don’t worry about the age of the book. The verbal section hasn’t rlly changed much since then. Do all 27 tests. Go through about 3 a day.</p>

<p>The above link is a resource that contains 200+ reading passages and questions to go with them. It is wayyy MORE than enough practice for the RC section. Go through a few of these a day and you are set.</p>

<p>Don’t bother with Kaplan or Princeton Review prep books. Honestly, I think they suck.</p>

<p>You don’t need Kaplan or Princeton Review for anything–verbal, quant, or aw.</p>
