Looking to hear from current or past Stanford students or Faculty. I won't be applying for at least a year or two, but I'm trying to weigh my chances. Here are my stats:

UCLA M.S. Mech Eng (3.6 GPA)
UCLA B.S. Physics (3.5 GPA)

3-5 years of work experience (depending on when I apply) as a design engineer at a company that develops laser technology.
Strong LoRs.

700-730 anticipated GMAT (I received a 790 on the quantitative section of the GRE without studying for it)

Thoughts?

You give no indication of what type of company you worked for (is it a big name that adcoms would recognize, is it considered a “prestigious” place to work at, do they have a history of sending people to top mbas…)
You give no indication as to how well you performed while there or what you accomplished.
You also give no indication as to why you are doing an mba and what you hope to accomplish with it.
Additionally, you seem to have forgotten to have mentioned what you did outside of working over the course of the last few years (have you volunteered, ran a company, …?)

Without these, no one has a shot in hell at evaluating your chances.
