<p>Ok. I’ll be straight up with you. I’ve been reading a bunch of forums and none of them really specify any specific grades that we can’t have or a particular GPA that we have to achieve… this is not only for my early decision to brown but all my schools in general. This year i definitely spread myself out too thin. with a full IB/AP schedule (7 classes) and president of 2 major organization on campus I’ve been overwelmed and have done poorly in everything. this is embarrassing and I have never received anything below a B but this year I have 2 C’s and the rest are B’s… I am so sad right now and I will step it up but i need to know how far i can stretch it…

<p>you probably don’t want worse than a 3.5 gpa unweighted 1st semester</p>
<p>If you get accepted - you’re fine as long as you maintain about where they are now (I would say no more than 2 Cs just to be safe)</p>
<p>If you get deferred/denied - I am under the impression that 1st semester senior grades count just as much, if not more, than junior year grades.</p>
