How badly did I screw up?

I'm sitting in my computer chair right now absolutely terrified of the prospects of college. I've been talking to my councilor recently, but I'm getting the impression that she's been, let's say, "politely dishonest," when it comes to my prospects of college, and I was hoping to get an external opinion.

I spent the last two years of high schools slacking off in a big way. My grades haven't been the best (Bs, low As, that sort of deal) and even though I have literally taken all of the honors and AP classes that my school provides (Not at all impressive; it's a really small school), my grades in general are the only thing I have going for me. I don't have very many school clubs to slap on my resume, and those that I do have I can't say I ever got very involved in, with one minor exception. As for community service, external activities, awards, etc. all those things are literally nonexistent. For reasons that I have only recently begun to confront and understand, my high school career has been spent not so much living in an ivory tower as under an Ivory rock; I had isolated myself physically, socially, and mentally from the world around me, and now I can't help but think that I've set myself up to be the perfect candidate for a nice little rejection letter.

Basically, I have no idea where to go from here. I have no idea what kind of college I might stand a chance of being admitted into, and this is holding me up in a major way. I'm scared of applying to six colleges where I honestly could do well in, only to receive six rejection letters because my sophomore-Junior self couldn't find it in them to crawl out of their little safety-bubble every once in a while. What should I do?

In case anyone asks, I'm aiming for eventually getting a masters degree in economics.
