How beneficial is being a questbridge finalist for Penn?

Hi everyone,

I was named a Questbridge NCM finalist a few weeks ago. I only ranked Penn but I probably will not be matched due to my EFC being a little over $500. I was wondering how beneficial questbridge will be when I move my application to early decision. Are we looked at in a different pile? I am also a student in a top public school in Philadelphia and I heard they accept a lot of students from this region.

I applied to Penn Engineering.

Also, should I be worried if I did not get contacted by an interviewer yet? Everyone I know who applied from my school has gotten one and it is surprising that I did not get one and I live in Philadelphia.
