Is a B in biology for someone that's majoring in Economics/Finance/Math area if that's your only B.

I think I'm not going to be able to pull off a 96 on this final exam tonight. :(

It should not be too much of an issue...

Just keep studying, you might surprise yourself.

Hmm...well I just figured my grade up. I have to get a 96 on the final to get an A, but I can get a 50 on the final and still get a B. That's insane.

I FU*********************** HATE BIOLOGY!

Sorry...had to get that out. I should have never even looked at Cornell and then I'd be kicking ass and taking names in Physics.

Yeah, I don't think they look at it and say:

Hm, this applicant got a B in this course. We can't take him.

Unless...your indicated major is the course you got the B (or whatever other grade).

If you own at the classes you want to pursue and your profs in the field can substantiate your ownage and character, then that (I would think) is more important.

By the way...would B only bring your GPA down to a 3.97 something?

Good because I do. :D

I think a B will bring it down to like a 3.93 because it's a 4 hour course. If I get all A's next semester, it'll probably go up to 3.95 or so. OHHH WELL. I knew I put off science for a reason. The guy that went here last year and transferred to Rice that I always talk about had the exact same GPA as I will, and got into G-Town as well. It just really SUCKSSSSSSSSSSS.

Bs are not bad...i dont get why people see Bs as such a low grade, when in fact, its still "above average", just not "excellent"...a C is average, a C you should avoid...im getting 2 B+s, two Bs, and an A and not worrying

well I'm at a community college, so for the schools I want to transfer into, B's are the spawn of Satan. But 1 shouldn't be too bad...especially considering the courses I've taken...

brand, could ya check for a pm.

^^^ got it.

So here's how I'm looking on paper so far...

History I
Government I
Calculus I
History II
Government II
Calculus II
Economics I
Calculus III
English I
Business Speech
Accounting I
Accounting II
English II Honors
Economics II
Biology I
Chamber Singers

"A" in all classes except Biology. Next semester I'll be taking:

Biology II
Differential Equations
Statistics
BCIS
(maybe Chamber Singers again)

So I'm just trying to figure out my GPA as of now...do you take the grade and multiply it by the number of credit hours to get the overall points for that class...add those up and then divide by the overall number of credit hours? I think I'll have a 3.92. :(

omfg A in Calc II/III...you monster.

At my school barely anyone gets an A in those classes..#%!@#$!

monster?!??!?! runs away
